Cortez Waterfall

At the Cortez waterfall, you can swim almost completely underneath the water that’s flowing down, or you can walk up above the waterfall to see it from above. There is also another smaller waterfall about 2 minutes away from the big one,  there you can jump into the water since the water is much deeper.

Where is the waterfall?

It is located close to the town Bagaces, which is about 2 hours away from Tamarindo and only half an hour away from Liberia. To get here you can either rent a car and drive there yourself, or you can book a tour and combine it with other activities in the surroundings of the waterfall.
